I'm not sure about the rest of the world but it seems okay from what I see on TV but in Singapore, motorists are often causing danger to cyclist.
I've seen too many cases and recently the heat in Singapore is that the government are not protecting the cyclist enough. Increment of punishment will not cut down the accident rate on the road and in fact it's telling cyclist to get off the road.
According to the Singapore law, cyclists are suppose to be on the road instead of footpath. But how many motorists actually know about this law?
Clearly some education needs to be done here instead of more punishment. I'm in no position to give any orders or instructions but I am a graphic designer.
I came out with the following work hoping to spread the message.
